WhyIslam SoCal’s Founding & Goals

As misinformation and lies about Islam and Muslims became rampant after 9/11, ICNA decided to start “WhyIslam“ a new project that provides accurate information on Islam and Muslims to the general public.

The WhyIslam project has been very successful and in great demand which lead to local WhyIslam chapters nationwide including a chapter in Southern California.

WhyIslam’s goal is to educate the Southern California community about Islam & Muslims.

This goal includes countering the lies, misinformation, and Islamophobia towards Islam & Muslims in America.
